How do I take Mercado Pago payments in Framer?
Open Mercado Framer from the Framer Marketplace (it runs inside Framer, nothing to install) and connect your Mercado Pago account from the plugin. Add your products in the dashboard, sync them to your CMS and insert the storefront components. Publish your site and start selling, with no code.
How much does it cost?
It's free to install, with no monthly fee. Mercado Framer charges a 2% platform fee per sale, on top of Mercado Pago's own fees. Each sale goes straight to your Mercado Pago account.
Do I need to code?
No. The plugin creates the products collection in your CMS and gives you ready-made components: buy button, cart, gallery, price, variants and stock. Drop them on the canvas and they're already wired to your store.
Can I sell digital products?
Yes. Upload the file in the dashboard and it stays private. Once the payment is approved, the buyer gets a temporary download link by email.
How does stock work?
Every approved sale lowers stock automatically. Checkout validates price and stock live, so you never sell something out of stock or at an outdated price.
Which currency do I charge in?
Your Mercado Pago account's currency. It's picked up automatically when you connect the account.
Can AI agents manage my store?
Yes. Mercado Framer has an MCP server: with a key from the dashboard, agents like Claude can create and edit products or look up orders and sales. The docs explain how.
Is it an official Mercado Pago or Framer plugin?
No. Mercado Framer is an independent plugin by Akila Studio, not affiliated with Mercado Pago or Framer. It connects your account through Mercado Pago's official authorization, without sharing your password.
